Deutsche Bank is committed to providing access to artworks and events for all visitors.
The most important information about the PalaisPopulaire and your visit is provided on the website in plain language. In addition, you can get to know the PalaisPopulaire better in a detailed video in German Sign Language (DGS). In front of the building, there is a bronze tactile model depicting the PalaisPopulaire and its neighborhood and identifying the main buildings in Braille. The PalaisPopulaire is certified as a low-barrier site.
Specially designed tours and workshops with tactile models, in DGS as well as in Plain Language convey the exhibitions and artworks in an individualized way. Introductory videos in DGS, flyer texts in Plain Language as well as in Braille provide more information about the program.
The PalaisPopulaire offers an audio guide for blind and visually impaired visitors for many exhibitions, which provides detailed descriptions of selected exhibits with general audio texts. Tactile models of individual works of art as well as information about the rooms and pathways help visitors find their way around the PalaisPopulaire.
In addition, there is the possibility to book a customized family workshop for blind, deaf, visually and hearing impaired people as well as in simple language.

Deutsche Bank is honoring LuYang as its ›Artist of the Year‹ 2022. LuYang, born in Shanghai in 1985, is one of today’s most internationally influential Chinese multimedia artists. The focus of the show at the Palais Populaire is Doku, a gender-neutral avatar that appears as digital reincarnations of LuYang in six versions. An immersive ›experience center‹ is devoted to him, with multimedia installations and video works that revolve around universal themes such as identity, spirituality, and cultural boundaries in the context of digital worlds.
