Since the fall of the wall, Berlin has been an epicentre for artistic and architectural experiments and has attracted artists from all over the world. Recently, however, the international press spoke about “Berlin fatigue”. Within the current zeitgeist, how can we take up, control and revive what was created in Berlin by a historical coincidence? What new ideas and forms emerged in the last half year that can be the driving force for innovation in the years to come?

On the occasion of Berlin Art Week, Gallery Weekend Berlin and MESSE IN ST. AGNES, Therme Art is curating the courtyard and facade of KÖNIG GALERIE with an interwoven programme of talks, artistic commissions and food experiences running from 11—13 SEP 2020. THERME ART x MESSE IN ST. AGNES will gather leading figures from diverse fields—among them art, food, science and politics—to explore the vital place of art in ensuring greater health and resilience in the wake of COVID-19. The event will be a continuation Therme Art’s recently initiated digital discussion series, the Wellbeing Culture Forum and will be streamed live and available to watch by viewers worldwide.
Across three days, THERME ART x MESSE IN ST.
