Renewing its Principles 100 Years Later

The Bauhaus movement revolutionised our cities and lifestyles 100 years ago out of an artistic impulse. Today, under the sign of the mono-cultivation of our planet, climate change, and viral pandemics, we ask ourselves, what could it mean to “ground” the humanist Bauhaus idea with local and ecological differences and desires, reigniting it anew.

On the occasion of Berlin Art Week, Gallery Weekend Berlin and MESSE IN ST. AGNES, Therme Art is curating the courtyard and facade of KÖNIG GALERIE with an interwoven programme of talks, artistic commissions and food experiences running from 11—13 SEP 2020. THERME ART x MESSE IN ST. AGNES will gather leading figures from diverse fields—among them art, food, science and politics—to explore the vital place of art in ensuring greater health and resilience in the wake of COVID-19. The event will be a continuation Therme Art’s recently initiated digital discussion series, the Wellbeing Culture Forum and will be streamed live and available to watch by viewers worldwide.

Across three days, THERME ART x MESSE IN ST.
