Mountains

Mountains is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2019 and based in Berlin. Its focus lies on international positions that are marked by conceptual depth, formal openness, and a distinct visual language. The gallery’s intergenerational program brings together emerging voices and established artists. A particular emphasis is placed on the representation of two estates (David Medalla, Martina Kügler) reflecting a commitment to both historical grounding and a contemporary, affective engagement with art. Mountains currently represents 15 artists. It presents regularly changing, carefully curated exhibitions and participates in international art fairs. Most recently, the gallery took part in Basel Social Club, with upcoming presentations at Wilhelm Hallen Berlin and Art Cologne.
