Flussbad is the campus of Slowness, an experiential hospitality collective that reframes the way we live, work and come together. Built at the site of historic Weimar-era river baths, it was designed to enable collaboration and innovation across disciplines toward the reimagining of human potential.
Beginning its phased opening in 2023 with the Reethaus, Flussbad will grow over the next year to encompass ateliers, hotel rooms, working lofts, a restaurant, an auditorium for learning and exchange and an advanced holistic health program spread across campus.
The Reethaus itself is a space for radical presence. It was designed by the Austrian architect Monika Gogl, who drew inspiration from ancient temples, caves and other natural voids to allow for profound encounters—with arts, with ideas and with each other. In the inner room, an in-built 360-degree spatial sound system is programmed in partnership with the pioneering spatial sound collective MONOM.
