Instagram Tour at PalaisPopulaire

The PalaisPopulaire is currently hosting the exhibition ›Christo and Jeanne-Claude. Projects 1963—2020‹. Works from the Jochheim Collection portray the impressive shrouding of buildings and the installations in large landscape spaces by the famous artist couple. A visit to the museum is again possible since 6 May – but what cannot yet take place is the programme of events surrounding the exhibition. The PalaisPopulaire will therefore be streaming a live guided tour of the exhibition on Thursday 28 May at 8 pm on their Instagram channel. Follow the art historian Dr. Lisa Klotz through the exhibition and along early objects, large-format drawing tableaus, editions, and prints by the artist duo!

Online collection of the Julia Stoschek Collection

The online collection catalogue of the Julia Stoschek Collection is a true addition to a real museum visit: More than 63 film and video-based works by 21 artists are already available here free of charge and can be accessed at any time! More than 860 works by 282 artists are to be included – the entire media collection. Weekly in ›Julia’s Most Wanted‹ the collector personally introduces one of the featured works. This covers works by John Bock, Kate Gilmore, Cao Fei, and Wolfgang Tillmans, among others, which can be viewed directly from home and in full length. They are presented on the website on some kind of black stage, which reminds of a black box situation. Just search, click, and watch!
