On 12 SEP, Spatial, presented by Monom—Berlin’s center for spatial sound—extends into the night with a Berlin Art Week after-hours gathering at the Monom Bar from 10pm until midnight. Just steps away, Monom Studio opens its doors for a rare encounter, celebrating the opening night of Spatial: A Festival for Spatial Sound, Art, Music, and Technology. Throughout the festival, the most iconic halls of Funkhaus will be transformed into unparalleled listening rooms, as Monom Studio unveils its largest-ever constellation of 4DSOUND systems—the only system in the world capable of producing true audio holograms.
The evening also inaugurates Polyphonic Views—an exhibition curated by Passage—unfolding across the vast industrial architecture of Shedhalle, with works by more than thirty contemporary artists.
