Bastian Gallery presents Anselm Kiefer’s solo exhibition ›Watercolours‹ featuring 21 of the artist’s watercolours from several decades. Kiefer’s watercolours were first introduced to an international audience 27 years ago at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and have since been exhibited in Paris and, most recently, at the Nolde Museum in Seebüll. For the first time, they will be exhibited in Berlin. In the medium of watercolour, Anselm Kiefer explores German history, mythology, legend and philosophy. He conducts a dialogue across epochs with poetry, linking landscapes with literature and history.
