International Symposium on the Future of Contemporary Museums at Berlin Art Week
During Berlin Art Week (10—14 SEP), this year’s festival hub ›Berlin Art Week Garten‹ will be hosted by Hamburger Bahnhof – Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart. The symposium ›Shaping the Future‹ will take place there on Friday, 12 SEP, from 11 AM—5 PM.
›Shaping the Future‹ brings together leading international voices to explore the museum as a social space. Museum professionals from Berlin, London, Amsterdam, Barcelona and Warsaw will discuss the challenges facing institutions and the ways in which contemporary art museums are embedded in society.

The event was organised jointly by Berlin Art Week and Hamburger Bahnhof – Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart, the hosting institution for this year’s ›Berlin Art Week Garten‹ festival hub.
