Deutsche Bank is committed to providing access to artworks and events for all visitors.
The most important information about the PalaisPopulaire and your visit is provided on the website in Plain Language. In addition, you can get to know the PalaisPopulaire better in a detailed video in German Sign Language (DGS). In front of the building, there is a bronze tactile model depicting the PalaisPopulaire and its neighbourhood and identifying the main buildings in Braille. The PalaisPopulaire is certified as a low-barrier site.
Specially designed tours and workshops with tactile models in DGS as well as in Plain Language convey the exhibitions and artworks in an individualised way. Introductory videos in DGS, flyer texts in Plain Language as well as in Braille provide more information about the programme.
The PalaisPopulaire offers an audio guide for blind and visually impaired visitors for many exhibitions, which provides detailed descriptions of selected exhibits with general audio texts. Tactile models of individual works of art, as well as information about the rooms and pathways help visitors find their way around the PalaisPopulaire.
In addition, there is the possibility to book a customised family workshop for blind, deaf, visually and hearing impaired people as well as in Plain Language.

Charmaine Poh has been named Deutsche Bank’s ›Artist of the Year‹ for 2025. The work of the Singaporean-Chinese artist and filmmaker, born in 1990, spans multiple media, including film, installation, photography, text, and performance. Her practice centers on narratives of agency, repair, and futurity, exploring the visibility and opacity of femininity and queerness in Southeast Asia.
Poh’s artistic approach is informed by personal experience as well as engagement with new technologies, ecology, and cyberfeminism. In her video installations, she breaks with conventional documentary formats, opening space for marginalized voices and long-silenced memories. Her work investigates forms of resilience and spirituality that challenge power structures and the exploitation of both human and natural resources.
