D'Frac

Get the day started with flowing movements: the D’Frac Dance Session invites all visitors to Berlin Art Week to explore their own bodies and their surroundings to the sounds of non-conventional club music. By including the location and the natural surroundings, a focus is placed on the multi-layered complexity of the perception of our own bodies: feelings of expansiveness and freedom encounter the energy of a club night. You can join the dance class at any time: D’Frac Dance is open to people of all abilities and requires no equipment.

Leaning on suggestions and metaphors presented by a Movement Guide, the participants are encouraged to explore movement, sensations and fantasies while transforming a variety of rhythms and sounds into their own unique expression, as individuals and as a group.

Bring your dancing shoes.

The session is open for people of any gender and body type, with no need for prior dance experience. We welcome every person who wishes to expand the range of their dancing experience.
