Ho Tzu Nyen—2 Stories: Voids & Times

Rooted in the histories, mythologies and political impulses of East and Southeast Asia, Ho Tzu Nyen’s multilayered audiovisual practice fuses scripted narratives and machine learning to shape environments that channel the region’s layered, multidimensional legacies, giving voice not only to their spirits of resistance, but also revealing their masked ambiguities. His debut exhibition at neugerriemschneider continues the philosophical inquiries at the center of his current solo shows at Luma Arles (until 11 JAN 2026) and at Mudam Luxembourg (until 24 AUG 2025), to be further complemented by his first mid-career survey, hosted by Hamburger Kunsthalle (1 NOV 2025—12 APR 2026). Ho Tzu Nyen was recently appointed Artistic Director of the 2026 Gwangju Biennale.
