About

Sound & Vision: Live & Immersive

For one electrifying evening, the walls will melt into light, the air will pulse with sound, and the space will come alive. The programme unfolds as a seamless flow of live performance, cutting-edge sound design, immersive lighting, and experimental video projection. Each set is engineered to transform the venue’s architecture into a responsive stage surrounding the audience in a fully integrated sensory experience where music, light, and image move as one.

From Tokyo, Manami Sakamoto plates luminous works of digital artistry and immersive visual compositions where 360° LED light and multi-channel sound form delicate, shimmering desserts for the senses. Her creations, presented at Mutek Montréal, Mutek Tokyo, and Refraction Festival, are rich in detail yet light in touch, leaving a lasting aftertaste of wonder.

Outro (Juan Barallobres) brings a hearty main course of soundas a slow-simmered layers of synthesizers, piano, noise, and groove. Moving seamlessly between experimentation and the dance floor, his performances at Mutek Montréal, Mutek Argentina, and Buenos Aires’ Under Club are proof of his mastery in balancing complexity and accessibility.

Carlos Villamizar Berlin based art from Colombia serves an intricate sonic broth: immersive soundscapes infused with ambient textures, experimental structures, and a touch of storytelling spice. His compositions invite deep listening, drawing audiences into unfamiliar yet intimate territories of sound and space.

To crown the experience, the Berlin-based collective Ungrid offers a visual pairing worthy of a fine wine—expansive 3D audiovisual environments that transform the stage into a living sculpture. Known for their striking AV performances, they bring a visual depth that complements and enhances every sonic bite. Jiu-Q, a Japanese ambient jazz artist, stirs improvisational warmth with the resonant tones of the French horn, crafting atmospheric works that invite deep, lingering listening.

Together, these creators  supported by a sound engineer and light designer will craft an unforgettable two-day banquet for the senses, where every course is a world of its own, and every taste lingers long after the final note fades.
