Over the past few decades, the former fringe area to the north of Mitte has transformed into a thriving cultural hub, housing numerous institutions dedicated to contemporary art. Among them are the artists’ initiative BPA// program for artists, the Hamburger Bahnhof-Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart, the KW Institute for Contemporary Art, and the Neuer Berliner Kunstverein (n.b.k.), all of which you can discover on this tour.
