Achraf Touloub returns to Galeria Plan B with a new exhibition opening during Berlin Art Week.

Touloub paints in layers that conceal as readily as they reveal. Figures, landscapes, and symbols bleed into one another across shifting planes. His surfaces refuse to simply be read; they invite navigation instead, the way one finds direction by starlight, fixing a point within a field that never holds still. Moving between myth, cosmology, and the textures of contemporary perception, Touloub treats painting as something closer to a pre-rational instinct—an approach to reality that bypasses the retina, reaching instead for a kind of potential presence, an alternative dimension for the subconscious to inhabit.

Achraf Touloub's works linger at the threshold between what is seen and what is merely sensed—a terrain reshaped, in our moment, by the steady saturation of images and the blurring of information into experience.
