Curated by Udo Kittelmann, ›Fly on Amanita‹ presents a new video installation by Carsten Höller at Passage in Hermannplatz, Berlin. A green bottle fly cleans itself, feeds on a drop of Amanita muscaria, enters an altered state, recovers, and begins again. Somewhere between laboratory experiment and 1990s music video, the looping work transforms a microscopic event into an unexpectedly human drama, quietly reflecting on pleasure, repetition, and the fragile boundary between instinct and choice.
