On the occasion of Berlin Art Week 2026, Berlin-based artist Sunny Pudert invites guests to an evening in the Royal Suite of the legendary Hotel Adlon Kempinski. Together with Cammisa Buerhaus, Zack Darsey, Kevin Kemter, and Magdalena Mitterhofer, she presents a polyphonic programme that moves between text and performance.
The starting point is the iconic location from whose window Michael Jackson once held his baby over the balcony—a moment suspended between pop mythology, spectacle, and madness. ›Ordinary Tales of City Madness‹ explores how urban experiences become inscribed in bodies, stories, and images, and how artists appropriate spaces in order to become visible.
Through a series of short readings and performances, personal narratives and urban structures converge into an intense experiential space.
