Discover the exhibition series ›Making Public‹ on a journey through three Berlin exhibition venues. Together with curators Susanne Weiß, Sylvie Kürsten, Luise Schroeder, and Katharina von Hagenow, participants will visit ifa Gallery Berlin, Schloss Biesdorf, and Prater Galerie. Guided tours of the exhibitions ›Rauschen: Echoes of an Institution‹, ›Cosmos: Agendas, Networks, Friendships‹, and ›Courage: Sisters in Spirit‹ offer insights into each exhibition’s curatorial concept while highlighting the thematic connections between the projects.
The exhibition series is rooted in the graphic holdings of the Centre for Art Exhibitions of the GDR (Zentrum für Kunstausstellungen der DDR, ZfK), presented to the public on this scale for the first time since German reunification. The tour offers new perspectives on this collection, now part of the ifa Art Collection, and explores the intersections of art, cultural policy, and international exchange.
