Platte.Berlin

Platte is a community-driven retail space in Berlin-Mitte, founded in 2021 at the intersection of fashion, art, music and culture. The space operates as an exhibition venue, event space, creative studio and education hub, bringing curated shows, live formats, talks and collaborative productions together under one roof.

Its programme follows the logic of the city: independent, interdisciplinary, and developed in close collaboration with the artists, designers and cultural practitioners who shape it. Rather than a fixed format, Platte's curatorial approach centres on emerging voices and cross-disciplinary dialogue.

With a growing focus on contemporary art, Platte is expanding its identity beyond fashion. This includes collaborations such as one with Berlin-based artist Eike König during the Gallery Weekend Berlin in 2025, resulting in a jointly developed collection, alongside an exhibition during Berlin Fashion Week AW26 curated by Sven Marquardt that brought together fashion, photography and subculture beyond the conventional runway context. Platte understands itself as a platform for work that exists at the edges of established categories.
