What happens when the figures in Walter Womacka's mosaic ›Unser Leben‹ (our life) (1964) at the House of the Teacher break away from their prescribed order? In his performance for Beton Berlin, Constantin Hartenstein draws on the socialist visual programme to create new relationships, bodies and narratives in public space.
