Soft Power is a transdisciplinary festival and long-term platform at the intersection of art, music and social dialogue. As a special project of the Berlin Art Week 2026, the festival brings together exhibitions, performances, concerts, DJ sets, talks and shared meals into an open-ended Gesamtkunstwerk.
At a moment when the meaning and function of culture are being renegotiated between postwar political orders and an emerging AI-shaped world, Soft Power asks how culture produces influence—and what kinds of infrastructures make collective life possible. Rather than understanding power solely as coercion or economic pressure, the festival looks at the quieter forces through which people shape one another.
