SpecialArt in unexpected places
13 Stops
A route moving off the traditional white cube, through the more unconventional locations of Berlin Art Week 2026: From the hotel suite where Michael Jackson infamously dangled a baby from a balcony, to an old gas station reborn as a gallery, café, and a peaceful oasis in the middle of the city. From Mies van der Rohe architecture marked by its Stasi past to a thatched pavilion on the site of a historic river bath. Along many other spaces that didn’t reitred once their outgrew their original functions, but grew into something new without abandoning their history.
